Stop the X
number of personality
articles!

What's the
deal with all of these personality paragraphic
articles?
There's a lot of popular
internet articles out there these days. iVillage, eZine
articles, Askmen there's so many websites that are geared
towards dating, but these so-called dating gurus seem to make a
habit of this one consistently recurring theme, but nobody
stood up and rose the following question.
Why are potential lovers being
sized up in X number of personality traits in a single
essay-long article?
Both end of the genders are
getting a face full of this asinine treatment. Good women are
being segregated as low-maintenance, as patient women, as miss
intelligents, while the bad women are being segregated as gold
diggers, miss take, miss man hater, and miss cheater. While
good men are being segregated as mister right, mister loyal,
mister business ex, and bad men are being segregated
as misogynists, needy wimps cheaters and all
this stuff.
No need to go on, because
surely ANY human being can pretty much write a top ten list of
the worst personality traits in either gender.
Let's cut
the nonsense of these
articles..
A lot of people will agree
with this. People don't like being labelled no matter how heavy
or light the prejudice, and time over the centuries has not
swayed this philosophy. These X kinds of personality traits
articles are no exception.
Actually, it's not just a form
of prejudice, it's an exceedingly condescending form of
prejudice! Even if it's just a light form of it, it encourages
a shamefully lowly thought out form of personality segregation
that none of us deserve.
Even when people have the most
glaring of the aforementioned traits that stick out like a a
scientist in a jungle, it essentially encourages the mass of
people to perceive say for example, a needy wimp, as nothing
BUT a needy wimp, and nothing more.
Reasons why they're no good..
